The July Working Dog Training School experienced beautiful frosty mornings and magnificent sunny days.

Course participants came from Yorke Peninsular, Clare Valley, Riverland, Mid North, the Southern Flinders and the Fleurieu Peninsular.

The “Dogs Dinner” on Thursday night was rug up time. The bonfire, Peter’s barbeque and a great bunch of friends, made for a wonderful evening.

Some comments form the course participants were:

“A very well run course. Very informative and well worth coming (for) younger dogs and older dogs. (This course) will change the attitude of how we work our dogs in the future.”

“What a fantastic 2 days!   Now, when we have a good dog we will know what to do with it. The working dog is a very special animal and is very important to look after them. Any problems seem to be with the owners…not the dogs.”

The following pages give a snapshot of the students, the learning, the camaraderie and the fun.
